
Doug Nosacka O.D.
Dr. Nosacka was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. You can’t have a last name like “Nosacka” without being asked where it’s from. Dr. Nosacka’s great grandfather moved from Austria, where the Nosacka name originated, to New Orleans, LA in the 1880’s. Dr. Nosacka is the third generation from his father’s family to be born in New Orleans, and also the third generation of his family to graduate from Jesuit High School. His mother’s side of the family has a rich Cajun heritage going back several generations. Dr. Nosacka graduated from the University of New Orleans and then chose to study optometry at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico. It was in Puerto Rico that he met his wife.
Dr. Nosacka rotated to several clinical externship practice sites, studying a varying degree of specialty focuses, including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and cataract surgery co-management.
After receiving his doctorate in optometry, Dr. Nosacka practiced in Lake Charles, Louisiana. During his time there, he was a member in good standing of the Optometry Association of Louisiana and the American Optometric Association. In Lake Charles, Dr. Nosacka sharpened his clinical and business skills, leading to appointment of vice-president of an optometric corporation with 18 locations across the state.
In January of 2012, he moved to Missouri to open SEMO Vision Care in Malden, MO with Dr. Kamron Hunt. SEMO Vision Care opened its doors in April of 2012. Dr. Nosacka continued his membership in the American Optometric Association and immediately joined the Missouri Optometric Association (MOA) where he served on the board of directors for many years.

Kamron Hunt O.D.
Dr. Hunt was born and raised in the one horse town of Gatewood, MO, just 15 miles west of Doniphan. He loves to hunt, fish, and play golf in his spare time and spend time with his wife Haley and daughter Harper.
Dr. Hunt rotated to many clinical extern sites in North Carolina, Nevada, Puerto Rico, and Missouri. He worked with many doctors with varying specialties including: glaucoma care, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, cataract surgery, LASIK, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Hunt is a graduate of the IAUPR School of Optometry where he earned his doctorate of Optometry and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In April 2012 Dr. Hunt and his friend and business partner Dr. Douglas Nosacka opened SEMO Vision Care in Malden, MO.
Dr. Kamron R. Hunt is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in primary eye care for the entire family including: contact lens fitting, problem-focused eye exams, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, medical eye disease diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Hunt is licensed for the practice of Optometry by the state of Missouri. He is an active member of the Missouri Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the Southeast Missouri Optometric Association.
